Sofie - Cisplatinum : 1-2

Na twee relatief goede MTX chemo sessies hakt de cisplatinum deze week er weer stevig in. Sinds gisteren ligt Sofie grotendeels in bed en wordt indommelen afgewisseld met TV kijken. Ze heeft ook al meermaals moeten overgeven en de eetlust is onbestaand. Tegelijk mag mama geen twee meter van haar wijken en duiken er allerlei kleine kwaaltjes (neus, oor, buik) op. We staren naar het chemo-infuus en tellen de druppeltjes af...

After two reasonable MTX session we now suffer more from the cisplatinum chemo. Since yesterday Sofie stays in bed and toggles between napping and watching TV. She had to vomit several times and eating is out of the question. Mama is not allowed to leave beyond two meters and at the same time several small anoyances surface (belly, ear, nose). We stare at the chemo Baxter and count down the drops...
