Sofie is doing good. Far too good to be in the hospital. Fever's gone since Friday and luckily the isolation is stopped Sunday morning. The blood values are very good and increase naturally (without transfusions) (wbc: 3400, rbc 12,5 (highest since May!!)). The only reason we are kept in the hospital is because we need antibiotics every 8 hours and they can only be given intravenous. But over the past months we're trained in assertiveness so mum asks if we can't go home between 12 and 8pm. It's a YES! Great joy and off to home until 7:30pm to sleepover at the hospital to get antibiotics during the night.
So now and then there's a crumb fun for us.
Being home is fun. We can be together and play with buddy and brother Tim. And with grandad and grandmum. But being force to go back to the hospital and say goodbye quickly after arrival is tough .... and we haven't told her that we'll have 8 times chemo in the next 10 weeks so long periods are at home are long gone.
